               ty problémy s ASUS jsou jen výjimečné a je to spíše otázka ovladačů než samotného čipu.

   Ahoj,
   ve vámi postaveném HTPC používáte kvůli HD videu AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (65W).
   Pro stavbu mého HTPC mám vybrané víceméně podobné komponenty, ale nechci tam dávat tak “žravý” procesor.

   Jaký byste mi poradili?
   AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ EE (dvě jádra @ 2GHz; 35W)

   AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400 (dvě jádra @ 2,3GHz; 45W – v prodeji v srpnu)

   1. Jaké AMD do HTPC
      Dobrý dotaz. X2 3800+ s 35 W je výborná volba, ale nezvládne dekódovat Blu ray a HD DVD. Proto, až to bude aktuální, dokoupíte jen nějakou grafickou kartu, která zvládne akceleraci levou zadní a ještě u toho spotřebuje méně energie, než CPU.

      X2 BE-2400 s 2,3 GHz už by možná mohla na full HD dekódování stačit, a nebylo by pak nutné dokupovat grafiku.

      Náročnost na dekódování Full HD souvisí jen s Blu ray a HD DVD. Pokud si napřiklad stáhnete, nebo vytvoříte HD video ve formátu DivX HD, to samozřejmě zvládne jak CPU 3800+, tak integrovaná grafika X1250.

               To je pravda, ale ta grafická karta bude mít DVI nebo HDMI taky, i když tedy bez zvuku… to se ale dá přežít.

            2. SPDIF konektor
               SPDIF konektor mají vyvedené i některé grafiky s HDMI, takže se to dá vyřešit.
